A. Our primal need to connect with other? B. Our primal need to know “the status” of others? C. Our primal need to share “our status” with others? D. Our primal need to “promote ourselves” to others? E. Other.?
With all respect Sir/Khatim, all these choices are away from the deep deep reality.
I guess the social media acts as a dangerous virus has entered our life, it affects on the man's or woman's life - work - private life - relations with parents - relations with our family, etc...
Wasting-Time machine.
If we have really really work needs to be done at it's time or there are firm laws at the company or at home or at school or at college or at any place.
Or if we have an improved culture which helps us to use social media at leisure time only.
I guess if all of that happened, the world now may be in better case than what it is on now.
We are lazy, so we naturally do not like to go and meet other people. and also in today's age we are afraid of competition present in the room. online it is easy to manage.
Definetly it connects us with other and reduce the communication gap . We can share our feelings, experience, opinion and get other opinion on any serious issues.
i would go with all the above choices. we get connected with social media to make friends or get connected with friend you already have , what their are doing when they are not living close by , to know their day to day activities , and to share your thoughts and get ideas and for helping them when they need something.
the primal need that make people love social media is all of the above choice .
