Do you can risk to advise something new as an open source solution ?
For security reasons, we usually tend to use paid software.
As for free software, we use it only in tests or educational environments.
It depends, but I will opt for paid ones to make my work easy and more useful for long term.
It depends !!
If the open source offers a good quality and do the job, why not, but if there is a small percentage of risk on the business of having open source, then it will be better to have a paid one.
According to the nature and complexity of the business, and for the big companies I recommend a paid one to cope with the changes of the buisness and technologies as the cost of managing an open source program may be more than the cost of the programm in addition to the knowhow which will cost more to build it internally
Open source with a good Programming/IT Administrator is the best.
It depends on how big is the business. Having a paid software is better for sure because it will have all features. Paid softwares is even safer. Having an open source software gives the opportunity to unlimted users to try and find the defects while the paid software don\\t have this advantage.
It All Depends on the needs of the intended user.
If needs can be fulfilled by open source then its well and cost effective too.
If needs are more than that then according to budget advice should be made.
I think all the softwares for the use of organizatin, one have to pay.
