How does Virtual Private Network (VPN) affect Islamic traditions?

We all know that governments in the Middle East impose strict rules regarding internet content, blocking web sites that are deemed to pose threat to the moral fiber of Islamic traditions. With the entry of VPN into these countries, there is a greater chance that those blocked sites may become readily accessible to all.

VPNs have already been around in ME regions for quiet a while now, and people have been using them to bypass the filters since they have become available. It doesn't really affect any Islamic traditions directly, the act of blocking the undesireable sites or content is just considered as an ethical thing by the ME culture. The content that is blocked isn't necessarily always forbidden by religion, sometimes it is just for political reasons. So VPNs don't really have any new affect on the traditions, you can never really truly restrict anyone from any publicly available thing on the internet.
