Polymorphism stands for manifestation of different behaviors by objects of classes implementing same interface. A real life example would be our home electrical appliances all of which have a chord that can be plugged into an electrical socket (this chord would be the interface); but when we turn them on (a function accessible on the object) they exhibit different behaviors.

polymorphism is the ability by which, we can create functions or reference variables which behaves differently in different programmatic context.

polymorphism means in a simple way "many forms" in which an ability to change more than one form.
