No. Job without description is like a aimless boat and it will not get me to my goal.

No.  A job without description can be dubious; and the person offering it must be either a scam or a disorganized individual who does even know what he is doing.  So, it's a disaster to be working for this kind of employer.

I might consider it after a good conversation with the person proposing it.  It could a real adventure!  Just think if you met Steve Jobs in his parents' garage in the late1970s and he offered you a position, of any type, without description, and you said, "Yes!"  Where would you be now?

I agree, it is not to be recommanded to take a job without knowing what the employer expects from you, since your yearly rating depends upon. I usually shows that you have inexperienced personnel in HR.

However you always can research the job title and have HR or the Hiring Manager sign off on it... make sure it is put in your file and you keep a copy for yours.

Oh , and not to forget the little phrase "...and assigned duties as needed"... meaning you will do what ever your manager or employer want you to do, but do not forget to mention it in your review if it is not a part of your regualar duties ... it could be a bargening chip for better wages or an other position.

If I was offered such a Job, I would investigate it on my behalf and through the help of the concerned companies website. If thing's seem well, I might think to go into it further and if its totally no-no situation in that case I think it won't mean much to get emloyed there only for the sake of money. After all there is something called self esteem and self reliability.

Generally no one would accept job offers without description, but, in tough times, when a person is not having job, may accept but it would be only a resource of daily food only, rest it will be a black hole.
