How much, if AT ALL, and how do you use translation web tools?

Only for an urgent contextual translation of a seemingly interesting online post that is unfortunately written in a language that I don’t master, like Serbian, Bosnian or Serbo-Croatian.

 

I agree with you in that, although shockingly accurate sometimes especially in terminology, online translation tools will never replace human translation. Good news for fellow respected translators & bad news for Google. Then again, I try to overlook language “imperfections” around here and give it my best shot, since such imperfection fortunately do not hamper my understanding of a question or an answer. But that’s my personal opinion.

Thank you for answering :) ..... I asked this since I noticed that a lot people here can not write English properly, but also can not understand it since questions are so .... hmmmmmm unclear

I use GOOGLE translate whenever I have a situation where misunderstanding is not tolerable !!
