Morale is not found in the enjoyment of work or the sometimes long shifts that can be expected in this busy world. Morale is found in the person next to you; within the team and influenced through the leader of the work force. Morale is hard to sustain and ever so easy to loose for this reason it is important to stipulate all the boundaries and limits of the work environment. This is when morale will be created, not by management, through colleagues and other co-workers. It is fabricated in the tight bonds between people and if said bonds are integral enough they are unbreakable and your workforce will always have morale at a high level. Be it working in the rain, having to work extra long hours, given that long report nobody likes doing, a personal or colleague loss and even during times of extreme difficulty, morale will remain in the positive and will steer from the negative if that fabricated bond is just.
Now my question to you is...
How do you fabricate that bond?
If found workers like to work and enjoy it and regular in attendance then your morale is high
The required increase morale in words or a financial incentive
If the opposite must be to find out why and do my meeting to change perceptions wrong.
