Will replace vehicles with electric vehicles.
Clean, sustainable, and abundant energy - empowering human beings from the
most modern of cities to the most remote villages on Earth. A tremendous amount
of human energy that is expended merely to find water or firewood would be
unleashed; perhaps allowing for the explosion of widespread education around
the globe. This dynamic alone could lead to a significant shift in human society as
it has been repeatedly shown the hugely positive effects of educational access
Energy (Fuels), Power etc. like other natural resources including water requires costs to extract, produce and supply to the end-user. Even if the end-user gets it for free, someone else like the Govt or State has to pay for the cost and then recover the same costs indirectly by way of Cross Subsidies, Duties & Taxes. This may result in protests and violent actions by the citizens of the country against the Govt. or State.
Anything to the end-user or consumer which is free of cost is most likely to be wasted, misused and abused. As this is non-sustainable, the Govt or State may be forced to withdraw from providing free Energy and this again may result in protests and violent actions by the citizens of the country against the Govt. or State
Hence what we do differently is wastage, blackmarketing, protests & violence.
Basically Energy is Free, extraction/ Generation is not free... like gold.
and if it get free then its value will fall
pakistan has serious energy crises,,,, i will sleep in my AC room till2015 if its free.
90% of us would consume more than required.
Energy per se is available free in this universe in different forms. But the human demand is energy at his fingertips for his specific comfort for which call for application of technology. It is here that we Engineers Win our bread.
Are you referring to fossil fuels? If you do, then I still would conserve it because its resource is not infinite. Sooner or later it would become depleted.
Actually, it's not wise to waste anything we have. Even if you insist that you are living in a developed nation and everything seems accessible and abundant, it is not reason enough to be indiscriminate about our natural resources. We are not the only generation living in this planet. What about your children's children and the generations after them?
We will redirect today's energy costs to further development. I expect also that some people may abuse energy.
