2- Exceeding expectations

Contemporary customers are becoming growingly critical and aware. They may be content or moderately happy if their standard expectations (as a result of them being critical) are met, like "good customer service" for example which should be a standard (depending on market geography).

But chances are bigger that they will be delighted (which is a higher state than happiness or contentment) if such expectations are exceeded (including, but not limited to, good customer service)
