Does accepting nominal gifts from clients effect the objectivity of an Internal Auditor?

Gifts can always be received by auditors as long as the integrity of the audit is still preserved.

It's really easy to say No for everything, but if we stop for a minute and think what harm to expect from a pen with company logo ? 

I think if we call ourselves specialists then we need to analyse and assess first rather than just simply saying NO. 

QHSEs who continually just STOP work without any solutions to OPS management eventually loose their jobs.  As  specialistswe need to provide solution how to carry out work in compliance with certain rules rather than Stopping and requiring to provide significant changes to the system or existing processes.

Same is here, I personally don't see any harm of receiving stuff with company logo.
