Translation varies from Places to Places, if you are planning to go for English learning then its a nice step because many countries opt English language, but in some places other languages play a major role.
A lot of the work I've seen in translation offices is routine work: birth/ marriage certificates, driving permits, and academic qualifications.
First thank you for your invitation, second it depends on the movement of the economy or the social situation in the country.
all kinds of transaltions are required
the most required type of translation in these offices is the legal translation. Nevertheless, you can find clients demanding translating some papers of any type at their convenience. it depends on the clients not on the translator. the translator can translate any document or article of any type.
Note that you can find many offices of various type of translation:
offices for subtitling
offices for newspapers (there are translators)
offices dealing with legal translation (certifications, contracts, certificates, and attestations). However, as I above-mentioned, many clients might demand translating documents of different types.
According to my experience in Saudi Arabia, all types of translations are required and available in translation offices.
