Time! Time! Time! . Everything will work out  if you give it time. First thing to do is, take the job.                   And gradually let your family  fall in love with your new enviroment . You can start by making sure the come for holiday and find activities they will enjoy doing. But do not give up on a good opportunity for a great job. You will be alright.

Opportunity knock once.  It will be a tough decision to make.  Lots of children went astray due to lack of parental guidance but if u will be able to explain to your children the necessity of leaving home for work... they will understand.  i'd rather grab the opportunity,   to be able to give my children  what they need in life and teach them how to value the hard earned money so that in the future they wont have to leave home just earn money and live comfortable life.

My family is my duty

I work for them

And would love to have my children and my wife with me anywhere.

So work hard and out to the same level for the job, which nominated her

I would think of more than just the career, the quality of my life and the quality of my family's life. My decision would be based on the happiness and security of all the family members including myself, both now and in the future. There is more to life than just career, the career is a means to support your lifestyle and not solely your life.

Depending on the circumstances my decision could go either way, but would be based on quality of life and overall happiness of everyone in my family.

I guess that offer is not attractive enough if you have to choose between family and job. I believe good employer will provide you good social package which will include school fee, accommodation etc. It is better to earn a bit less but to be in piece of mind that your family is not far from you.

We should not ignore realities of life.  You have a family who no know you in full, your talent, exposure everything.  If the job is challenging to be attractive and if you feel that it will turn to be a mile stone and turning point in your life you can positively proceed with. You are only click / just few hours away from them and the whole world has become so close and very near as if your home town.
