Stock review is dependent on the movement of items. Fast moving or in-demand goods need more frequent monitoring maybe on a daily or weekly basis. Slower moving ones can be reviewed on a less frequent but regular basis (monthly/quarterly)
Perishable items need also to be monitored not only based on their movement but also on their shelf life.
Dear Nisar
in stock control you have2 ways of inventory over view
1- Daily process
2- periodic process ( weekly - monthly or annually )
but you can classify the stock into ABC Classification ( depending on Sales Amount & Margin of each item )
this way u can determine the turn over of each item and trace the A class in a Daily Procces - B Class in weekly and the rest of store Monthly or annualy
and trace the high Value items
15 days once.
Store Manager and department heads have to do the stock review on daily basis by reviewing dash boards. Too much stock means money is stuck and less stock means loosing sales and customers.
