When doing layoffs, what do you think is the best strategy? selecting from the ones who get the highest salaries OR selecting from least performers?

Selecting least performer will be a best strategy for the organization because cost minimizing is a vital issue in this situation. For reducing unrest problem, please hang a layoff notice in front of the gate and settle financial issue as early as possible.

I prefer least performers (this can include high salary employees too) for some reasons:

  • Promote high performers
  • Can make some changes to the structure and makes useful shakes to the structure.
