Not at all. Reason? I am jobless. I am not allowed to work in my country due to early retirement. Because of a management handover, I lost my job to the new management, and had to retire early. As I had a high salary, I can not go back to work in Jordan for a lower salary. This would have the effect of reducing my pension salary way too much. That is why I am looking for a job opportunity in the Gulf even if the salary is less than what I used to get in my country. What confounds and upsets me at the same time is the lack of responses from prospective employers in the Gulf region. I can not explain why. I did everything immaginable when it comes to CV and cover letter writing and tailor-making, and the result was zilch. While on the job, I thought, or maybe fancied, that I would be headhunted. When I lost my job, I was hit and shocked by the unpleasant and grueling reality of lack of responisevess on the part of the employers no matter what. I am sure of one thing though. I am employable because I can add or create value to the employer. Finally,I think my frustrating jobseeking experience resonates with many of you. Thanks for reading my answer.
Good Day!!!!
Totally satisfied ....... Thanks to Almighty Allah S.W.T. ........ Thats what i wished to achieve when i joined this industry and started my career.
Due to the scarcity of jobs
Must be satisfied
What is lacking practical:
Motivation at work
Interest in providing a good working environment
Attention to the social aspects of workers
Difficult question to answer, given the fact that I'm actually at a cross-roads, with many directions to go in.
But I am free and autonomous, so I am more happy than unhappy.
Thanks to God, and I want a progress. Thank you.
yes to this step in my plan and try to get extra & success more than my plan
If you are seeking fulfillment in work and not just another paycheck, I suggest reading a book called "What Color Is Your Parachute" by Richard Bolles. In the second part of the book, he walks readers through exercises to identify their true talent and dreams. The book changed the way I look at my career.
I recently started a new job and I am happy. Of course its hard to see the direction of things in less than one month, but I like it thus far because I believe in the work I am doing, it challenges me in a good way, its very flexible, and I like the team of people that I work with. Those are all traits I have come to realize factor into my happiness.
If you don't like your job, quit. No one nails our feet to the ground and nothing is stopping us from finding our career nirvana. Just do the homework on what your passions are before quitting and use that to guide your way.
