Some people believe that leaders are born with the necessary qualities that make them successful as a leader. While others believe that leadership, like many other similar characteristics, can be learned and developed through life.
In my opinion, leaders are made.
"Many people seem to forget that the phrase "leaders are born, not made" is merely a linguistic figurative speech to emphasize the great share of innate talent and charisma in forming outstanding people (leaders, gifted people, inspirational people).
We surely know that they're not really BORN like that, don't we? Don't we all just cry out loud when born? Society and experience contribute in equipping people with certain persuasion and convincing skills and abilities as they grow up, building on existing basic characteristics such as intelligence (= readiness to receive, learn and apply quickly or superbly). They are NOT born. That's a figure of speech that should be put in the right prudent & realistic context"

Good leaders arent’born, they are made! They are made just like anything else, through hard work and that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goals. As we have found that the leaders are not born but are made, therefore anyone can try to develop leadership skills. However, do not rely on what you get it for a couple of days or weeks – this process can take a lifetime, and it will be influenced by a large number of factors around you, as well as those people with whom you communicate. From our childhood every person is composed of a variety of social groups, such as fro exemple: kindegarden, friends on the court, school, university, student parties, colleaques. In all these groups, always, there is a someone who is the leader and who “leads” for an all others, domination over the participants in this group.
There are two components of personal power:
-a person
-ego position
Each components have a set of sources of personal power and influence. A person’s ability to influence others and to be a leader depends on how much a person is aware of these sources in itself and develops them. There are real and simple tools that depend only on the will. Leadership approach – is to act in order to win.. Always try to be on the crest of a wave, go through your fears beyond their own comfort zone. Do not abandon the chosen goals! Being open to new experiences. Seek to open up new opportunities even in the most difficult situations.
leaders are born and made too but good leaders need to have some qualities.
LEADERS ARE BORN BUT YES THEY CAN BE POLISHED BY TRAINING.
With the right coaching everyone can become a leader!
the answer is: ‘mostly made.' leadership is about one-third born and two-thirds made. The job of leading an organization, a military unit, or a nation, and doing so effectively, is fantastically complex. To expect that a person would be born with all of the tools needed to lead just doesn't make sense based on what we know about the complexity of social groups and processes. The fact that leadership is mostly made is good news for those of us involved in leadership development - leaders can indeed be developed. Yet, there is some "raw material," some inborn characteristics, that predispose people to be and become leaders. What are some of the inborn qualities?
leadership is not just in born quality
a person who wants to become a leader can choose himself and work hard to learn the qualities of a successfull leader and follow the path in becoming a successful leader
I guess, some were born to be a leader and some were made...
Each human being could be a leader in some aspect but needs a parental and social guidance to find out and master the domain.
