How we can remove the BIOS supervisory password from Latest Lenovo Laptops. i.e T440S, X1 Carbon etc? Suggestions welcome.

Hi. Have you found a solution to delete the supervisor password on your lenovo thinkpad ? I have the same problem with my T440. Greets

do you remember the password? if yes, then go to the bios. while the laptop is booting up, mostly it ask you to press f2, f10 or f12 for bios options. in the tab menu, you can find there the options for removing the bios passsword. if you forgot the password, turn off the laptop and unscrew everything at the buttom cover and remove the cover slowly. look for the cmos battery, remove or disconnect it and let if hang for about2 minutes. reconnect again the battery and then turn it on, there you go, the password is gone.
