My understanding of the question is what makes a prospect a customer. It is the added featue in the product , the +ive feedback from an existing customer , a new discount offer , a new ad in a media that the prospect uses etc , any factor that brings the product to the top of the mental list of things to buy.
There must be model show rooms in the furniture show rooms for each part of home such as bed room, kitchen, hall, toilet etc so that the customer can easily arrive at a conclusion in deciding his/her choice.
