When you reach that age limit (retirement age)
Don't get along with your line manager/supervisor
No culture and values within the company
No business ethics
There is no respect and appreciation
Treated badly and unfairly
Normaly Just before they are about to say you are fired.
Acording to books when you feel nothing to gain or give.
You have to resign when you see or feel the following:
1- You can't add any value to your company or to your career
2- You are not part of development process
1) Boring routine and you're looking to learn many things
2) When you see that employer or manager trying stripped of all your the permissions required or you faced there will no negotiation, while other opportunity waiting for you, so do not waste opportunities
It's time for you to resigned when you failed to delivery the agree Sales Target.
If you got another good job with good working conditions and handsome salary packages, you can resign from your job and get the opportunity. But if you are working on contract base then you first have to give a notice to your current employer.
some would say .. when you have nothing more to give and nothing more to Get, and i do agree with them but i would say if there is a better chance ... go for it and don't look back
It is time to resign only after
1) getting an offer letter from another organisation ,with atleast25% increase to your current salary.
or
2) you get enough capital to do a business of your own which will give a return of atleast the same as your current salary.
Without any of these you stay put.
When you don't have any more desire to raise. When you don't feel happy working there anymore.
When you are no longer needed, lost interest and no ethics.
