Effective influencers are convincing and trustworthy and both these qualities self management . in order to persuade other to accept your point of view, it is necessary present a clear case that matches their needs. The following are essential steps in self management towards achieving influence  over your team

·         Improve your credibility by being well informed

·         Understand that effective influence stems from two way dialogue
