I agree with Tohamy Hussain's answer. In my view, Delegation will help you grow a back-up for yourself and it helps growing the career of that subordinate. Without effective delegation, a manager's life become tough and have to work late everyday to complete action items in his queue...
First : setting goals
Second : the development of a suitable plan to carry out the work accurately
Third : Patience and perseverance until the achievement of the desired goal

The goals behind the process. Some of the positive goals are the redistribution of workloads to improve productivity and subordinate development. Sometimes the goals are negative like lasiness, favoritism, or framing subordinates who might not be ready for the task.
So the key factor is to delegate effectively to achieve positive goals.
the key factor that is involved in delegation is empowering your subordinates or team through breaking down a huge task into mini completions because its saves money and alot of time.
The key factor in delegation is who should do this task, me or someone else? Sometimes it is going to have to be me, so I'll do it, sometimes it's better done by others, so I'll ask them to take it on, and ensure they buy in to doing it.
I am agree with Mr. Mohamed Fawaz
Delegation is a win-win when done appropriately, however, that does not mean that you can delegate just anything. To determine when delegation is most appropriate there are five key questions you need to ask yourself:
