I thank that information age added agreat deal of utilities to projects management because the usefullness of internet enables the coherent and  coordination between different departments located in different geographical areas..also globalization increases knowledges and make it easy to imitate the core competencies of other competitors and enable the user of technology to  avoid the distances between different strategic business units located in different locations..uses of entranet and extranet also support the decision making process positively.

i wont say completely but yes i think it has eliminated to a great extent.

it did not completely eleminate it ,but made it more affordable ,and even we need less meetings and can do the job with no delay ,

Technology does not eliminate the need for distance communication. It just enables it and make it easier, more available, more affordable and of higher quality
