There is no one "best" connection method in a great communication program within a project, a portfolio of projects or a mix of projects, portfolios and programs to be managed with proper and effective communication taking place all the way through !!
I took a senior project manager position in a PMO that had170+ projects running at the same time including57+ IT projects as well. Within the PMO structure, we had a dedicated "communications manager" to take care of the "communication program" that would connect all people involved with the program and the PMO.
If I look at the details of what was going on, I can describe it in one sentence It really can take and absorb all that you can afford to make available for it. All communication and connection facilities, tools, mechanisms, and processes were there for regular comunications, ad-hoc communications, peer to peer communications, entity to entity communications, internal and external communications, newsletters, dedicated web, posters, brochures, literature and documentation
dialogue ,,,it means two way communication.
