I personally like my debit card. It has all the electronic fascilities of a credit card but does not let u overspend. You keep within your limits. You can avoid EXPENSIVE IMPULSIVE PURCHASES FOR WHICH YOU HAVE TO PAY HIGH INTEREST RATES LATER ON. You have peace of mind.

Is debt a necessity? If yes, then yes! But I doubt it. The rather usefulness, instead of necessity, of a credit card relates to its facilitation of shopping payments in a heavy "credit economy"; I can't say this of Western Europe for instance as people here are more used to using their bank cards for daily payments, even if it's the supermarket. That's debt-free, interest-free, hard-earned money, carefully and well spent. The "dangers of credit cards" lie mainly in the psychology of "easy money"; such cards have a magical way of easing themselves into your mainstream budget and shopping-sprees habits as if they're not interest-bearing! Use a Debit Card instead if you fear for such effects. It has the same functionality and you can only spend as money as you ACTUALLY have (topped-up by you), not what you "FRACTIONALLY have".

Certainly, Credit Card is very helpful in our daily life. If some one need cash money all on a sudden due to any emergency purpose then card holder can take advantage from this credit card instead of borrowing from any friends or relatives. We should avoid cash withdrawal from credit card but only emergency or when there is no sufficient money in deposit account. Generally, credit card can be used for purchase and Debit card for cash withdrawal purpose. To avoid high rate interest, full payment in credit card bills within payment due date is mandatory.

Lot of people think that posession of credit card could easily lead to unbearable debtburdon. I do partially agree with this but credit card has some advantages too i.e.

1. It could establish your credit history which could be useful if you want to borrow money for house purchase or a nice car in future. Having no credit card means no credit history at all.

2. It could aslo help an individual to become financially organized like purchasing something by using CC and paying money back before the start of interest rate.

It is obiviously nice to have , but the person wont have a control over it by paying amount right on time will be a headache later.it is always recoment to pay the full amount by due date to avoid the service charges if possible. Credit card bank will project the small % of interest for monthly if you multiply it to annualy it seems a biigger amount and all other tax componenets apply on the interest % it  may lead to the loss of big money later to settle or close the account .
