Whenever crude oil feed pump's safety blow then why feed directly throw to column instead of slop line?

If the crude oil relieves to the slop system it will lower the net crude charge. If it relieves to the tower, the crude charge rate will remain constant. This will prevent having to deal with a severe unit upset do to a rapid charge lowering. The tower will become upset, yet it's easier to slop individual products instead of the whole thing.
