Infographic is usually a highy-edited piece or collection of data possibly from different sources .. and presented in an overall graph or sequence of graphs to explain specific information abit something that needs to be communicated to the readers/viewrs.

Data Visualization usually take the RAW data as-is ... without any editing ... and represents it in a visual form without (necessarily) making conclusions out of that ... leaving it to the viewer to extract what he/she wants and reach at his.her own conclusions ....

Dear Said,

Infographic is a single tile of collected information which starts with a process & walks you through to the end of a process that explains with visual expressions & examples for easy understanding of the audience.

Data visualization is creation & analysis of information which is abstracted in some schematic form, including attributes or variables for the units of information.

SAAA.
