A bank may face many risks but one of them is Liquidity Risk which means when the depositor request from you the withdrawl their deposits in excess of available funds, other is Credit Risk where the creditor may not chance to repay the owing money and the third one Interest Rate Risk where the bank has chance to be in loss when if rising interest rates force it to pay relatively more on its deposits than it receives on its loans

sometimes banks may invest very big amount of their cash on public bonds and when a crisis blasts they may face a big liquidity problem..There are some cases in the real world that some banks have gone bankruptcy in this way.

Fruad risk in my opinion is one of the main risks that may face the banking sector in addition to the Financial , operational & credit risk .

When identifying the major and primary risk to a Bank facing is the Financial Risk, which categorically includes capital/liquidity, fraud and financial crime (AML/CFT) risks. 

All others are secondary such as

credit (loans),

operational (procedures and policies),

market (pricing and Interest rates sensitive),

country (political stability) and reputation (all included) risks.

Il existe plusieurs types de risques bancaires (opérationnel, crédit, marché...etc.). A mon avis, le risque le plus dangereux et qui reste difficile à détecter c'est lorsque les gestionnaires du terrain sont amenés à constituer des provisions pour les engagements défectueux de la banques et qu'il maquillent la réalité ou la minimise, puisque leurs performances devant les actionnaires (théorie de l'agence) en dépend. Et ce, dans leurs comité de crédit régionales. Ce risque à moyen et long terme, peut se traduire par par des pertes colossales qui deviennent comme une boule et peut toucher, la crédibilité de la banque, ses partenaires, ses clients et même devenir systémique. la banque centrale n'y pige rien, puisque en fin de compte la banque n'est qu'un commentaire.

Banks deal most liquid and sensetive element of the earth that mean Money which response is high in terms of changing market i.e. changing of economy or political environment. Inflation of GDP, NDP, Political uncertainty, Unemployment problem, natural disester, world economic impact effect the balance of a country which may increase or decrease risk, such as liquidity problem, Asset liability position. which is the main risk of a bank.
