make a short movie about the novel on youtube
Demonstrate it on social media
Good Day!!!
The products which are failed after the first launch are difficult to relaunch successfully. The novel needs a very precise and focused marketing strategy which can only be designed by a successful marketing consultant.
If i would be assigned to market the said novel, i would first pick the cetral idea and plot of the novel and would make the marketing strategy accordingly.
Agreed to the comments of Mr. Ahmed Gendy
i would search the relative blogs and choose the readers type who will like the topic of our novel and then i start a new blog and invite the selected bloggers to comment on the topic.
I would also went to see a movie director to discuss the story of the novel (if its worthed to make a movie on) and with his positive ocmments i make my marketing plan.
Now a days, people love to read those books on which somebody made a movie.
If I were the publisher,I would publish a summary on the internet .I ould write blogs about it.I would publish it on the facebook. Also , I would log on writing forums and publish it.
Good advertising; with short summary about it.
And I would ask for critics help; however what is their opinion, it would help if you publish their opinion. If they said it was fun, people will buy it to see how fun is it, and if they said its not; also, people will be interested about it.
Also, making another edition might help. Make a press conference about it, arrange a meeting with a well-known newspaper.
Make a contest about it, ask people to give their opinion "If you were the writer, and you want to improve your novel; what would you do?" when you publish your advertisements among writers, students and critics; you will have a good participants number.
its all about the social BUZZ if could ignite some you will get real results
Create a controversy or story about the book or author.
Tell a part of stories about it to your circle if friends, network or relatives. You'll never know one might be interested in.
First and foremost, why did the novel get to print if it was not good enough? It would be a waste of time, money, and effort on the part of the publisher. The book should have been reviewed before it is published.
On the other hand, if the book was good and did not sell, make an assessment on the factors why it did not appeal to the readers. Perhaps, it was not appropriately displayed in the bookstore (lack of visibility). Anyway, you can make a press release about it. Or, make a review about the book and post it online. You may even invite other people to make a review of the book. In other words, use the power of the "word of mouth" as it is most effective.
THATS TRICKY,,, NOVEL IS A PRODUCT BUT YOU HAVE TO ESTABLISH THE CREDIBILTY / VIEWER SHIP OF AUTHER,,, THATS VERY IMPORTANT TO PLAN,,
