Managers who managed multi national employees cannot be effective if not exposed to different cultures and not had opportunity to travel around the world to experience the cultures first hand. How one can be champion of culture change at work place, with a background that lived with own culture and customs? Share please. Thanks Hassan Al Jabri
You can have a theoritical understanding of change management by studying international management and then focus on the cultures that are dominant within your organisation. Understanding the nuances of both high and low context cultures will allow you to have an awareness in your day to day interactions.
Culture can also be observed via the media, music and art furthermore observation again of the various cultural practices in your workplace will give you a better understanding of working in a multi cultural environment.
You will have always keep an open mind no matter how far away someone elses practices differ from your own cultural inflences. Finally, if you have only your own culture to direct you than take the opportunity to remove yourself from what you know and apply yourself in a way that you would not normally apply yourself when faced with change. Sometimes having a blank slate is a good place to start learning about new things.
All the best Champ!

True. It's very important for the Employees relations manager to have such multinational culture exposure. Othervise there is no meaning for the position itself as employee relations manager.
It is True because the System of Multinational Organisation That Relation cannot build up because there is a huge stup even expanded in Number of Countries of the Wrold. They have different nature of Cultue, Language, Environment, Political and Social situations effects on relations. The best Manager is that who overcome all difficuties give timely result of his given Tasks/Projects.
It is important to understand the cultural ethical, national and economic backgrounds of employeess for knowledge transfer, in order to match learning with the interests of the employeess. This should be consistent with generic information, I am convinced that fair, valid, reliable and transparent employeess assessments are the only way to obtain the feedback and respect of the employeesss. Hand in hand with this is the formal evaluation, which is primarily focused on enhancing the motivation of employeess and on guiding their improvement. Instructors should establish one-to-one interaction to obtain employeess feedback in order to rehash their issues and difficulties in work place, particularly those that are lagging behind their peers.
True to some extent. However, as humans are all same and demand respect as taught by Islamic teachings.
it's not true, because even in the same culture people are different .... but it is enough to be understanding and open to the thoughts of others we can always find ways to collaborate with them. because
