With markets increasingly adopting more and more market segmentation -fueled by the internet and other customisaton efforts-some crtics claim that mass marketing in dead.
No..
No, some clients still lean on old school.
and if you didn't sell, it enough be in there minds.
No it's not dead we have variety products and services in our world and of course you cannot market them all with same method . in case of launching a new product , service or company you need to do mass marketing to create awareness and so on .
Gentlemen
I think there is a rural urban divide here or a divide between the developed and the developing world.
In the west online media is very powerfull but it is not that powerful in the developing world.
In the Indian subcontinent more than60% of the people in villages. Power suply is erratic and load shedding is quite common. Standard internet connectivity would only be available in district and subdivisional towns and may be near by villages. Hence for the time being changes may only be taking pace in B2bB marketing
But we hear that even in remote villages people are trying to connect to the internet through their mobile phones recharging them with TRACTOR battary the most reliable source of electricity with the tractor working like a power generator.
Yes changes have started . A niche market has be created for Mercedes Benz cars and Harley davidson bikes but still for the masses I think mass marketing will remain for a long time at least in the rural areas of the developing world.
No really not, but we can say the means of mass marketing has changed to another level. Don't you see the another face of mass marketing in social networks, internet etc
NO SIR,,, ITS THERE IN THE GROUND.
Mass Marketing--still very much alive and plays its role in Underdeveloped and Developing Economies in particular and all economies in general.
Absolutely not..... Why should it be considered dead in any case?
i think it exist even inside the segmantation
