I received an email with subject "How to pass PMP in 10 days?" Is it really possible?

Would it be possible to pass PMP for an applicant who has never lead a project as a PM, but has experience working in one of the knowledge area defined in PMBOK. In case if he clear PMP would anyone risk him to hire him to lead Project as PM

Passing the exam is not a miracle on its own.  and many have passed the exam by going through the PMBOK itself as self-study boosted by some drills frome past exams.

Saying "How to pass PMP in10 days" is a catchy and appealing commercial cliche, and for sure it is good enough for some people to do actually pass the exam after these10 training days.  However, there is no guarantee that everybody will pass the exam after these10 days

Having said that, I would say from my personal experience that passing the PMP exam does NOT make the person a successful and effective project manager ... not necessarily ...and not enough for sure !

It is companies like these that are affecting our salaries as project managers. They end up graduating unqualified project managers missing the right experience. which result in lowering the standard of this certification

However, you need to have a course from a REP, that is a provider of training that is registered with PMI. without that course (and the4500 hours of PM work in addition to4 years of experience) you will not qualify for the exam.

This company is either a scam or a legitimate company that will loose its REP affiliation as it is working against the policies of PMI

I agree with the gentlmen. However, it depends on your experiece, most of the concepts in PMBOK are not new to project management field and have been practiced for long time. I guess ita possible for a well educated and experinced PM to be ready to pass the exam in 10 days.
