What is more important? Retaining clients or acquiring new clients?

they are equally important and should have a balance to achieve. Client retention is based on Client satisfaction and if you keep them satisfied, you are able to build your wallet size, achieve referrals and testimonies. To lose a client is worse than losing a bid for a new client. Current clients are already delivering revenue and are running, giving opportunity for cross sales. New clients cost money to implement and a lot of resources to get to a revenue point. Both are important but until you can retain your valued client base its hard to get new deals.
