Not having job offers is what most of us claim is the reason we are not fully active on bayt.com?is bayt.com to blame?after all it is a free service?

is it really fair to blame bayt.com.i did somehow blamed bayt.com in the past but after doing a thorough analysis of my cv,my qualifications,my experience,my place of work, and market demand, i have found out that my problem wasn't bayt.com ,it was my lack of local middle east experience, lack of corporate type experience, lack of connections locally, and my age which all have contributed to my lack of opportunities. so to set things correct,no one is to blame here ,it is just qualification and experience combined with current market conditions made it harder to locate a job.but that doesn't mean we will find jobs,i am sure we will, maybe in a different field but we sure will. good luck to all.

Disappointment comes as a result of the gap between expectation and reality. The bigger and more negative this gap is, the bigger the disappointment

Job seekers who come to Bayt (or other networks/recruiters/employment agencies) are usually full of expectations and when time passes without getting what they expect, their disappointment and frustration grow and they express that in their questions, comments and complaints !

I am not here to attack BAYT or defend it.  I am trying to give a fair and unbiased view of what's going on based on my professional analysis of the stiaution, so bear with me please !!

Providing a web site (common place in cyberspace) to connect jobseekers to recruiters/employers is a model that is being exhausted with more and more players coming in and competin.   I believe BAYT should start exploring its new "blue ocean" soon and move on to "higher-value" models for its vast and growing members comunity.

Adding "paid" services is one extra thing,  but BAYT is not the first and not the last one to join those who offer these "paid" services venue ... on the promise that it will improve the potential of candidate employment, but still falls short of making any commitments or taking any responsibility for that.

This is also going to be consumed and exhausted very soon    ...   and everyone is waiting for the next big thing in this field !!

First, it's not bayt fault because they are not the ones who chose who to be hired after all. It is just a service that connects employers with candidates. Second, the basic service is free which is having your resume uploaded and being able to view the current vacancies but there are a lot of other services that you pay for. On the other hand, the employer pay money to be able to upload the job vacancies and view the future candidates profiles. So at the end we shouldn't blame bayt for not being hired for a long time.

I don't think it's fair to blame Bayt.com. Aftarall, Bayt.com provides a free service, and connects the jobseekers with employers, they don't get involoved in the hiring process.

In response to this complaint, Bayt.com developped certain tools to help customers market their Cvs. You can purchase one of their products and have more opportunities.

totally agree as i am a couple ov years old here like two years but actually what i believe is trying trying for the best and as Mr ameer had cleary demonstrated  very prominant factors of unemployement i pick the low networking and market demands actually and  the new location while experience comes with the time so for the experience you also need to be employeed.a good network and a full grip of the degree you are holding a smiling face and honesty can take you any where u havent think of but may be it takes a lil so hope for the best.

We should not expect out of anything and should not fully depends on someone / some service provider until we get positive response. What you can do is collect info about the employer and send cv directly to co. simple. No one gonna work on your behave, atleast not on zero fees. (However, blame game is for loosers)

Good Day!!!

There no reason to blame BAYT....... Its just a bridge between a job seeker and an employer and we must pay thanks to them as its a free service.

BUT

Truly speaking, i haven't heard of success stories on BAYT...... Most of the people say that they never get shortlisted even....... atleast in my network, i haven't seen anybody get job using BAYT.

May be the employers dont believe gettig CV from this platform or might be most of the job seekers have "sub-standard" profile.

I am not making an argument ...... i am just sharing the fact that BAYT should be successful in the objective for which they made this site.
