DAS is simply define as Distributed Antenna System that apply in In Building Solutions or (IBS). Those were the antennas called PICO cell and PANEL were in it applies as a coverage for the mobile wireless signal inside the bldgs.

Actually, for vendor-specifics, all of them have similar terms but for today, there are only 2 types, which is: PASSIVE & ACTIVE. The HYBRID system falls under ACTIVE Configuration.

 

Here is the types (configurations) nowadays for IBS:

(1) PASSIVE

(2) ACTIVE

(3) LampSite -  3G+4G+WiFi (2.4/5GHz)

There are3 types of DAS. Passive DAS, Active DAS and Hybrid DAS.

A DAS system is a Distibuted Antenna system. And it is used for IBS (Inbuilding Solutions) to maintain cellular coverage inside the builing in addition to increasing the capacity of users.
