Between myths and truths ... you can hear lots of stories about this ... 

  1. Do not eat them in months that have Y in their names ... January, February,July 
  2. Eat them in months which have R in their names  ... January (Aha conflict with the above answer), February (Aha, same conflit again) 

I say ... eat them (or do not eat them) irrespective of the month you are in !!
