DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. DSL is the family of different technologies used for the internet access. Internet access over the DSL uses the classical telephone line. Thanks to the DSL technology, it enabled very fast internet access over the same cable which you use for phone calls. What is also very important to mention is that DSL technology enables you to have regular analogue phone call and fast internet access at the same time. Wireless can be used on top of DSL, where the users connect to the DSL decide via wireless so they have access to the internet.

So basicaly DSL is the technology used by for example a DSL router to connect to the internet via phone line, and wireless is used by your computer to connect to the DSL router via the air by radio waves.
