Imagination depends on: how much knowledge do you have?
Agree100% because its the1st step of inovation
If you don't have a backstock of knowledge, i don't see how you could imagine something.
Knowledge is "coloring"your world, bring you new possibilities, it helps to dream.
Yes, I agree. And I always use the example of "Isaac Newton and the Falling Apple" to illustrate the importance of imagination. He must have imagined the apple not falling, but instead floating of flying in the opposite direction, before asking "WHY?" and through seeking an answer, laying down the foundations of Physics through gravity law's, which in their turn facilitated the birth of immense knowledge.
Through his imagination about a falling apple, humans now can make tons of heavy steel and iron fly into the sky, using knowledge.
Of course, more knowledge can feed greater imagination (invention/innovation) too. The more knowledgeable parts of the world, throughout history, always demonstrated greater ability to imagine non-existing things and then make them happen through knowledge. Like what Muslim did during the Golden Age of Andalusia between the eighth and15th centuries in the fields of Algebra, Trigonometry, Optics or what the English later did with invention of steam engine beginning what is known as the industrial revolution.
Imagination helps make knowledge applicable in solving problems and is fundamental to integrating experience and the learning process. So Imagination is first step in solving problems, while it is knowledge which helps convert imagination into solution.
Knowledge enhances thought process and imagination.
Both are important.
Well yes !! Imagination is definitely important remember that world famous phrase '' I have a dream'', but however knowledge is equally important to guide us towards our imagination :)
it is a part of brainstorming
EXCELLENT IMAGINATION IS OUT COME OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE.
