Why is back EMF used for a DC motor? Highlight its significance. ‎

I think EMS rather employs available designs and technologies for improving these systems, to control/minimize pollution aspects etc.‎

A 4c cable is connected to a 3wire motor.?‎

A4c cable is connected to a3wire motor, with1C connecting to the earth on both side. Will there be a current flow or voltage with in the fourth core?‎
