What are the advantages and disadvantages of steel buildings?

the most important advantages of steel structure are saving time in construct the building, low weight and low cost(if height of structure members were less than500 mm) .
and the most disadvantages are safety in case of huge fire and high cost (if height of structure members were more than500 mm) .
so, i recommend steel buildings in factories and high rise buildings that care about time of construction and stability more than shape and finishing the building and that for sure with the best system of coating and repair.

Advantages :-1) Steel has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any construction material, so it can provide large spans , more space with smaller size sections compared to concrete.2) Steel provides a better cycle which enhances the schedule compared to concrete.3) steel material is available with no shortage despite of the huge demand especially in the last few years.
also the steel construction is depending only one one type of raw material compared to RC which needs to source different types (cement, steel bars, sand, aggregate....etc) Disadvantages:1) due to the high demand for the steel construction especially in the last few years, the material cost of the steel became higher.2) the resistance of steel against fire is weaker than the concrete , that's why steel structures will require fireproof material which may increase the cost.

The advantage is
1- very strong and flixble
2- we can make in steel by prefabricate a large sections which call a build up sections3-dosnt deteriorate with age like concrete building
4- installation easier than concrete
5- we can make a maintenance liker change a beam if we need that disadvantage is1-heavy and will be expensive in transport
2- high expansion rate3-corrosion , a steel bridge must painted continously
