The tech competitors slug it out in their commercials, each clearly aimed at World Cup lovers. Sony shows cheering, dancing fans using its gadgets in a bouncy ad. Samsung shows sliding, kicking stars using its gadgets in a booming ad. After your simple viewing of the YouTube versions, who do you expect to have a bigger ROI (cost vs gain)? Why?

As per the statistics US2 Billion Dollars has been invested by Samsung and Sony for  World cup related promotions.and are expecting25% increase a piece  in their tv sales and the positive impact is seen in their sales in June and both have launched FIFA dedicated Official Models with lucrative offers for luring customers  as Sony  Experia Z as Official smart phone for world cup and similarly samsung has done and Both will have a better ROI with this promotion.

both did well but in my opinion sony ad more attractive than samsung because sony shows social life like cheering, dancing fans which is very nice that will let people feel as they part of it. samsung ad its long and focus a lot on all features, and using celebrities will attract more and more customer .

really samsung invest a lot but they will get high ROI as ad got54,550,750 views on youtube, this is a very good sign to be the winner

Samsung, apart from all the stratergies applied for marketing, the strong thing with Samsung is that it has very strong presence in the mind of consumers, the best thing I saw practically is that, in India, when a customer enters a mobile shop, he may purchase or not, but the choice to see firstly is Samsung and than others.

Rest, it is always unpredictable to judge the consumer support to any brand, so I do agree with all the answers given by respected members of this forum.

I think SONY will get the bigger ROI as they have a larger fan following and has a wide range of gadgets to suit every need. Sony concentrates to cover all the fans around the world whereas SAMSUNG only covers Celebrities only.......

My vote is for SONY
