How do you tackle the four skills in language,i.e. Speaking,Reading,Writing and Listening in your teaching?

Some tackle these separately while some see them as inseparable thus they inter-mesh to form one body of knowledge. What is your take on this?

i believe they should be addressed individually,i know that listening is the hardest as i

listening isn't hearing.

speaking is a natural function ,all you have tio do is to lead or guide your students to what youn really want them to talk about.

reading is a skill that can be polished and improved with time, that is how we progressed from grade to grade and became better readers,.it is comprehending what we read that really needs attention.

writing is also a skill that progresses with time and practice.

but listening and comprehending is the hardest.and this one should be addressed more and more and students should be trained to listen and comprehend.

When we talk about English language, it's one and all the four popular skills; reading, writing, speaking and listening are its part. But as for as learning of English is concerned, we need to take each skill separately. It help us to learn in a better way by focussing on each skill. Various work sheets and exercises are designed and compiled by keeping in mind the mind levels of different categories of leaners. Selection of appropriate material gives the learner a quick go and he proceeds in a comfortable manner.

I believe in language  integration with some focus on one skill at a time.
