I usually call so I can get an answer on the spot. Emails will only work for me if I dont have the time to call. Emails will usually have a turnaround of24-48 hours.
It depends on the issue, the importance of the issue. If the issue that require an immediate attention, its best to phone and less important issue can be emailed. If you don't receive any feedback on your email within time frame, I will phone the customer service.
