Yes unions do agitate to stop desciplinary action against members. The situation becomes more difficult when there are multiple trade unions backed by different political parties all trying to get the support of the workers. If the govt does not intervene for helthy labour relations it affects the investment environment in the whole region as bad news travells very fast.
New investment would not come in a region where there is too much trade unionism.
