Is marketing something you study or it's an art?

Art definition is "The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination" and most marketing activities do not need imagination instead its more science and numbers.
While advertisements could be an art since it takes marketing input and designers generate visual outcomes from imaginations.
Think about marketing plans, focus groups, market research, swot analysis, competitor analysis, pricing strategy, etc...
Nothing artistic about these activities it require study and intelligence.

Theoretically based on Science but attainment is purely art.

Is a SCIENCE as some theories, science must be studied through scientific institutes.

It is the ART because they need special talents may not be available to anyone. Personal, the art of speaking,the way of dialogue, a method to provide the product,the ability to convince the customer, strength in decision-making,Understand the product and display it attractively, the ability to understand the customer.
