First from me , i mean MUST first make tasks which my stuff can make applied and happened then i can manage my team to make plan for my sections goals and know which can take place and which not , then i can be one of the team and not outside from them, by knowing their needs and which of them can take place according to the company ploicy we have.
Lead by example, and set expectations from each team member clearly. Encourage team members to solve bigger challenges..Motivate the team by conducting team building activities, and acknowledging the good work by awards/bonus/promition..
only a supervison is required for it.
Motivation, Appreciation and Recongnition are the soft skills that will be useful to invite committment from team members. Why someone should be committed beyond doing his usual work? Why should someone be unusually dedicated? Certainly he would anticipate some kind of recognition apart from a word of appreciation. He should be promised to see what it is. He should get a sense of accomplishment. That will motivate others too. Needless to say, at the end of the day everyone work towards earning more and more year after year. It is the duty of his manager to get his team members appraisal done and get him what he deserves.
BE THERE PART AND SHOW THEM HOW TO DO ??
Give proper guidelines and meet them on regular intervals to know the feedback
lead from the front and show them how to achieve it.
