How many times can you accept a merchandise return from the customer in a retail store?

As long as the reason for the return is Valid and we can make the Customer happy and satisfied with the services or product we provide.

I can do this in every time because I can understand the circumstances of customers and the reasons that make him do return the materials or goods. Also I know to achieve  any things you should be cool.
