Some managers (Personnel in supervisory position) hide regular & routine work informations because they feel they shall be the only one know it, and/ or because they feel it's against their job security, also some times they feel that no one can handle these information better than them, so why spread it.
After assigning duties and responsibilities to your subordinates, you have to design a very good schedule of supervision activities. This is done by carefully formulating supervision schedules and participation in the tasks to make sure that there is little or no error in the assignment. After this, you have to ensure that the subordinates are coordinated and encouraged with incentives as far as there exists dedication and spirit of industry.
Just one rule,
Effective Employee Engagement
in job as well as in professional life
Ideally, the manager has to have a reasonable understanding of each member of the team. That would help the manager to delegate the required job accordingly so that the results would be fruitful. Building Trust amongst the team is very important in the long run.
Also, frequent feedback is of vital importance. By obtaining regular feedback the manager could identify any required support activities, further training if necessary, etc., so that the team would be better equipped.
The manager should always strive to keep the team motivated, to maintain efficiencies high at all times.
