I may speak English pretty good and have certified as a teacher of English but no one can claim that I am an expertise till I have been checked by supervisors. So why should we always judge others by being natives or not to say that they are better?
Native speakers have the accent with perfect pronunciation and usage of idiomatics that make them real natives. English is their mother tongue and we trust natives that they can teach effectively and accurately. Though teaching should be a job for all qualifed teachers regardless of race and color, it has become a culture and a fad to most countries (that don't speak the language much) to hire native speakers to have that accent and confidence like a native speaker.
AS I THINK THEY GET THEIR NEEDY EASIER THAN OTHER COUNTARY
Because gulf countries is in great needs of English teacher and why not in other better place? its all because of a bigger number of competency.
I think that sometimes they are chosen for the accent and pronounciation and this is why they are chosen above others who may be just as good I
Obviously, the answer of Miss Ghada is so acknowledgeable because she knows what she is speaking about and I really appreciate her answer. But do you really think and here I ask Miss Ghada, it is worthy to ask such questions since there are no sponsors or evaluators for such matter. According to some, what really matter is to search about trifle questions to say that I know more or here is my ego. Native speaker has become an Oedipus complex in somehow.
