First Step for Improvement is: Review Processes

What to Review in Process: Most deliverables require several review cycles, including: • Peer review—review by senior members of the BPM team (average turnaround time3-5 business days). • Internal review—review by key stakeholders, BSAs, designated internal reviewers (average turnaround time5 business days). • External review—review by U-M customers or employees external to ITS (average turnaround time5-10 business days). • Final (internal or external review) —review by any reviewer who may need to see the document after the first round of edits have been incorporated (average turnaround time3-5 business days). Additional review cycles may be required depending on the needs of the project. The ultimate need is to obtain sign-off by key stakeholders. Deliverable cannot be published until required reviews and approvals are completed and recorded. Any comments or questions? Thanks

That is true, but lot of time we don't review and just start it improving....

That is big mistake.

The first step to improvement is not to review processes it is to know what you are supposed to achieve, what the expected outcomes should be, to know the limitations and  what the stakeholders require from you. There is no point to review anything unless you know what you are doing and why.

It is very important to start review process before giving final verdict.
