I agree with this quote If Allah SWT has given you success you should be able to hold that and share success with people around you and help them get inspired from it and contribute a bit to their lot Remember to  remain gratelful to Allah SWT always and pray for success in future also Never be Proud of yourself or your Success "Pride Hath A Fall"

From my personal experience ..  Back in1998, I got an exceptionally good offer in one of the big firms.  I accepted the offer (which was under annual contact that is automatically renewable). I left this job after5 months ...

EXACTLY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE 

When I left that job, many people wondered why would I leave such a good paying job .??I  told them .,.  It is not important how much money I am getting ... because the money is a side effect (result) for some achievement and not an achievement by itself This is very much like your statement It is NOT what I get from the engagement  ($$$)  , but what I become after the engagement (professionalo achievement)  !!

Practically it's totally opposite what you get matters most. Money ll get you respect and happiness and you can help others through money .

Being in power or high status don't give the right to underestimate or humiliate others, so what you get is not as important as what you will become..
